Snackplus (Baking Powder / Improver)
Improver / leavening to be used in the elaboration of extruded pellets of wheat flour or mixture of wheat flour and other cereals to manufacture snacks. Mix of sodium bicarbonate with acid salts, to give the leavening effect during frying, a crust / grain improver, to improve the texture of the snack and an excipient. The acid salts react with the sodium bicarbonate, as a result of the reaction, CO2 is released and other sodium salts are formed and with the components of the improver the paste is conditioned. The effect of the chemical leavening helps to form the fluffy structure in the product.
