Benzoic Acid Feed

It exists naturally in blueberries, resins and balsams such as Benjui, Tolu and Peru. It is also obtained by chemical synthesis, by the alkylation of benzene with methyl halide in the presence of aluminum chloride and subsequent oxidation with potassium permanganate in an alkaline medium. It is soluble in alcohol, ether and chloroform.

It complies with the rules of the country of origin and its use is allowed by the agreement in which the use of additives and coadjuvants is determined. For dosage and limitations, it is recommended to consult the NOM of the product.
